After visiting Hocking Hills State Park on Friday, I drug Gretchen - nearly kicking and screaming - to visit a couple of covered bridges in the area.
We had the chance to visit the bridges over Johnston Run and Mink Run in the southern section of the county. Both are on county roads and have been converted to walking bridges and sit in county parks.
If you go, carry your Gazetteer because both of these bridges are out in the country and are miles off a state route. It is fun to find them, but can be challenging as you travel.
Enjoy your trip!
