I had a chance to spend Friday with Gretchen and Sadie in portions of Hocking Hills State Park.
It was my first visit to Old Man’s Cave and I have to say that the beauty of the area was more than worth the 1-1/2 hour drive to reach the site located about 10 miles south of Logan, Ohio.
We enjoyed the trip and are already thinking about the next time we visit, when the plan is to find one of the pet-friendly lodging facilities and spend a weekend discovering all that the area has to offer.
If you go, be prepared lots of walking — and lots of steps — as you head into the canyon and into the regress cave.
Get out there and enjoy Ohio … it is a great place to live!
