Lighthouse Boxer Rescue, based in Cleveland, will hold a “Lucky 13″ Night at the Races on October 13 at Sherwood Forest Party Center (12900 Tinkers Creek Road, Valley View). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and post time is 8:30 p.m.
Tickets include dinner, beverages, beer, wine, 10 full color races, raffle, and dance party following the races. Tickets are $30 and if you buy a horse for $10 (prior to the event) you get to name it. Your name and your horses’ name will appear in the printed program. If your horse wins, you win a trophy. All proceeds go directly to the boxers at Lighthouse Boxer Rescue.
