Columbus’ BalletMet will debut its newest production, Sports Spectacular, on Thursday.
Show times on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday’s final show will take place at 2 p.m.
According to the BalletMet’s Web site:
Play ball with BalletMet as we pay tribute to favorite pastimes. Works include Harrison McEldowney’s Dance Sport, a witty satire on competitive sports and professional dance, complete with humorous play-by-play commentary, and Susan Hadley’s tribute to OSU and American traditions, Across the Field (Second Down). Also on the program is Badinage, a playful and athletic piece by former BalletMet Artistic Director John McFall, and new works by Maria Glimcher and Company dancer Adam Hundt.
Tickets range from $25 - $44 and can be purchased online. See you at the ball game … err .. the Ballet.
