Leaves change color, students’ return to school, and the smell of fresh-warm apple cider are all signs of fall.
As is Ohio Wesleyan University’s Sagan National Colloquium, which kicked off last Thursday with San Diego State’s Larry Ford (right). The program continues all fall with experts from all over the world providing insight into this year’s theme.
This year’s theme is “Cities and Suburbs: Life in the Metropolitan World” and has been led by Ohio Wesleyan’s Craig Ramsay, professor of politics and government, and Richard Fusch, professor of geography.
The schedule continues on Thursday when Saskia Sassen discusses “The Global City: Where Rich and Poor Meet” at 7:30 p.m. in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center’s Benes Rooms.
The colloquium runs through November 13 and includes three movies at the Strand Theater that will be free and open to the public.
This is one of the great things that Ohio Wesleyan brings to Delaware, Ohio.
