Waymarking: Letterboxing of the Future?

A couple of weeks ago, we wrote about Letterboxing and how prominent it is around Delaware County, well it appears that Waymarking is the digital equivelant to Letterboxing.

Waymarking is a Web site that allows visitors to post photos into folders for areas that they’ve visited. For example some of the folders include retired prisons, libraries, colleges and universities, and all the way down to Wendy’s or McDonald’s restaurants.

There are currently 105 images uploaded for locations within 10 miles of the 43015 zip code.

I haven’t had a chance to upload any of my photos yet, however it does seem to be an interesting concept that is all over the globe.
