It’s back. Okay, so I’ve been a little lax about Delaware Ohio’s Best and to be honest I don’t have a good reason.
So we are going to get back on track, starting with today’s issue and next week’s will appear on Wednesday.
Alum Creek Dog Park
Saying that Alum Creek Dog Park is the best in Delaware County is a bit of a misnomer. At least according to DogChannel.com, which named the Park the Best in the Nation for 2007. We’ve taken Sadie on several occasions and have been extremely impressed with the swimming area and the large-dog play area. It is free and open to the public, which makes it a great chance for the dogs to get out and play.
Bark Till Dark Dog Park
A private dog park located on Hills Miller Road just east of Troy Road on Delaware’s north side is a large open area that attracts a lot of wonderful canines. Bark Till Dark offers an one-acre pond and a large field for the dogs to play in. It is a nice location, however there is a fee for entry.
Columbus’s Channel 10 provides a list of central Ohio dog parks including one in Westerville.
