Six residential units sold in Ostrander, Ohio this month for the average price of $279,166. The average profile was 2,022 square feet, 3-bedroom and 2-1/2 bathrooms and sold for $138.06 per square feet after being on the market for 76 days.
The 2007 numbers are three-times what Ostrander experienced in June 2006, when only two homes sold. In 2006, the “average” home was 2,167 square feet, 3-bedroom, 2-1/2 bathroom and sold in 54 days. Of course, with only two homes sold this is not a very good “average” of the market.
On the year, Ostrander has seen 21 units sell with an average price of $231,128. That is very comparable to last year when 19 units sold for an average price of $219,552. Price per square foot is down 12 percent in Ostrander to $106.02.
