Galena is a beautiful town located on the northern edges of Hoover Resevoir in the southeast corner of Delaware County. It is one of the areas fastest growing areas, however its post office still only serves 5,474 residents.

So far in 2007, seven homes have sold in Galena with an average price of $373,173 and has an average of 2,666 square feet. However, the average home has been on the market since LAST June with a 374 average days on market.

That is a far cry from last year, when 25 homes sold in Galena during the month of June with an average price of $358,170 and had 2,819 square feet and sold in 102 days.

On the year, the sales have been very comparable with 67 units sold this year compared to 70 to date in 2006. So far in 2007 the homes have average $134.48 per square foot, which is a 5.4 percent increase over last year.
