Sadie’s Take on Delaware Ohio

The Delaware County Bicentennial Commission will be having two public meetings this month.

The first meeting is the Delaware County Bicentennial Commission’s monthly planning meeting. This meeting will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in room G-22 of the Delaware County Hayes Governmental Center (160 N. Sandusky St.) in Delaware.

The commission is currently developing plans to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Delaware County in 2008. The main emphasis of this meeting will be to continue work on a proposed budget and to discuss organizational details.

The second is for anyone interested in helping with putting on a Civil War Reenactment as part of the Bicentennial. This meeting will be on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Lions Building (22 S. Morning St.) in Sunbury.
