The Carnival of Cities slipped into Delaware, Ohio quietly over night. However, like any great night it left us a lot of great memories and a wee-bit of a hangover.
The night started great a fine meal that went with a great wine (I’ll take a Shiraz please) …
- Jaz takes us on a beautiful journey to the Poinsetta Bridge in South Carolina via the blog Wicked Winter.
- Mary Jo Manzanares’ “Cherry Blossoms are in Bloom” from The Seattle Traveler reminds us that Washington DC isn’t the only place with these beautiful flowers.
And then we had a couple of beers (insert joke here, but I’ll take a Bud Light) …
- Jon Rochetti’s The DC Traveler gave us a great review of rollergirls with “With Liberty and Justice to Brawl - the DC Rollergirls“
- Cascadia Song gives us a great video of salmon as part of the post “Salmon - The Spokemodel of the Northwest“.
- Statistics? We don’t need any stinking statistics, and Dan Harris’ China Law Blog wonders why in “Shenzhen Is China’s Most Livable City. Says Who?“
and someone had to mention shots (make mine a Blackhaus please) …
- Allie Boniface’s Allie’s Musings takes us to Hot Springs, Arkansas in “Adventures in Arkansas“.
- “Twenty-Six Dinners - Market Street Grill” posted on South Bank Projects makes me want to join author Steve Madsen for dinner.
- Real Opinionated’s Jonathan Greene tells us all about “Land O’ Lakes: I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter“
And next thing you know your at Taco Bell, wondering how they could run out of meat.
- Gillian Pollack’s Even a Little Thing for her post “National Folk Festival“
- Riversider’s Save the Ribble with “Counil Elections May 2007“.
- Alfa King Memories presents a recap of Manchester’s victory in “Magnificant Manchester“.
Enjoy this post responsibly.
