The small town of Newtown, PA, a town near me, started First Friday and the merchants give free samples, offer discounts and participate in the community events. A rousing success and one of the joys of living in small town America.

During the summer the downtown shops have done parties and such, it is a lot of fun. Though right now the economic situation in downtown Delaware is making it a little more challenging than in past years.
