Sadie’s Take on Delaware Ohio

We talk a lot about baseball on this blog, because Toby really enjoys baseball.

And today is the day that every baseball fan loves, it is the first day of the baseball season! (Toby refuses to consider the ESPN-azation of the game with a Sunday night game to take away from REAL opening day).

The Reds, traditionally were the first game of the season and they open the season at 2:05 p.m. against the Chicago Cubs. It will be an interesting season for the Reds in the wide-open NL Central. While the Reds could hang around and make some noise they are a player short of winning the division.

The Indians are open the season in Chitown against the White Sox and first-pitch is slated for 2:05 p.m. While the Reds are a player short, Toby thinks this could be a wonderful season for the Tribe. He’s predicting an AL Central title, and a chance to win their first World Series title since 1946.

Regardless of how the seasons go it is always great to see baseball on the television, or even better yet to make a trip to Jacobs Field or Great American Ballpark for a great game.
