I’m not a fan of outer crust so I really like Donatos edge-to-edge style. It’s pretty much all meat, cheese, sauce and other things I like. The people seem nice and beer’s only $2.75 a bottle.

Delco pizza is awesome, but if i have to choose a place based on not only taste, but also by the friendliness of employees, then i would not choose delco.

Delco Pizza is certainly the best Pizza in town. The seasoning they sprinkle on the pizza gives it the added touch that quality pizza lovers will enjoy. I work on the drive-thru side of the shop so I am offered pie quite often and have yet to tire of the taste. As for Amatos, I agree with Manny when he says it has more of an eclectic feel, however, these two pizzas (Delco and Amatos) cannot be compared. Amatos is in a category of it’s own and the pizza is great. If I’m having Amatos I’m having basil pesto sauce. If you’re a single person, on your lunch break, or a couple without kids Amatos is a good choice. Delco pizza is great for any occasion (except lunch since they’re open at 3) and any person. In my opinion Delco pizza is the king of all hometown Pizza shops!

I love both Delco and Amatos. It depends on what I’m in the mood for.. Delco is the classic midwestern pie (tons of toppings, a great flavorful slightly sweet sauce, and cheese to the edge of square pieces). Amatos has more eclectic toppings and a more distinct flavor. Delco has great delivery too, and Amatos will deliver to the Backstretch if you’re getting a beer already!

DelCo is good – hard to beat for delivery – especially if you want pasta.

But when it comes to the best Pizza in Delaware – it is really, really hard to beat Amato’s Woodfired Pizza – the pies are great – and the price is hard to beat. And to top it off their new subs are amazing too. Sure, it might take a while to get your pizza (pickup only) but it’s well worth it!
