Delaware Ohio: The Week That Was (March 11-18)

We had the explosion two weeks ago, and have seen the Delaware, Ohio Real Estate Market return to “more normal” levels.

The numbers below are all for an average of 3-bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms. They are located throughout Delaware County.

Active

  • Number: 1,885
  • Days on Market: 133
  • Square Feet: 2,694
  • List Price: $382,958

Sold

  • Number: 16
  • Days on Market: 169
  • Square Feet: 2,303
  • List Price: $288,306
  • Sold Price: $280,725

Withdrawn

  • Number: 26
  • Days on Market: 166
  • Square Feet: 2,591
  • List Price: $369,476

The withdrawn market continues to be those that have their homes priced higher than the current market will carry — for some reason. I’ve been in several of the homes that expired this week, and they were “nice” but not “as nice as the price” wanted for them.

Unfortunately, we still have licensed agents taking listings to take them, rather than educating the seller on what they are doing. (Of course, there are some that are “stuck” in these homes and can’t reduce the price.)

Sadie Lynn is the Boxer of Toby Boyce, a REALTOR with Keller Williams Consultants Realty, and Mrs. Toby. Sadie has been hearing more than she can take about real estate and Delaware since Toby became an agent in July. So, she decided to take into her own hands and created this site to share her new knowledge. Enjoy, my take on Delaware, Ohio and real estate as a general.
