Okay, so this is a self-serving Blog Review, but hey its Toby’s blog, so he can do it on occassion if he’d like.
United League of Moderate Gamers
Toby serves as a general manager and Web master for the United League of Moderate Gamers and recently established a “blog” as the league’s Web site.
The league has 16 teams with general managers ranging from 30-70 and from Maryland to Utah. The league is primarily based in northeast Ohio with a strong contingent of owners living in the Canton area.
The league plays a 162-game schedule using Strat-O-Matic baseball’s latest edition of the computer game. Strat-O-Matic is a probability game converting baseball statistics to mathematical probabilities, using the previous season’s results.
Toby’s entry in the league is the 3Rivers Travelers which plays its home games in PNC Park.
