The 2007 season, the Cows 16th, will debut on June against Lake Erie Monarchs at Toledo’s Ned Skeldon Stadium. The home-opener will be the following day at 1 p.m. against the Licking County Settlers.

The Cows will play 40 regular-season games running from June 8 through July 29 with the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League’s playoffs scheduled August 1-4.  You can download a PDF version of the schedule.

The Delaware Cows, under the direction of head coach Bruce Heine, are members of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Baseball League. All players have collegiate eligibility remaining and highly thought enough of by coaches and scouts to be nominated for the league.

Former Delaware Cows include John Van Benschoten, a first-round selection by the Pittsburgh Pirates; and second-round picks Mike Ferris, Brian Bixler, and Steve Stanley.
