Toby keeps bragging that he was walking on water.
I have to continually correct him that, frozen water is not “water” it is “ice”. He continues to not let a little “fact” get in the way of a good story.
The photo at left is Toby standing on a frozen Lake Erie - minutes after taking his fall - at Marblehead Light House just outside Marblehead, Ohio.
However if there is anyone that can be credited with “walking on water” (other than Moses of course) it would have to be all the loyal readers that have helped us hit 10,000 hits in only four months of tracking.
We started tracking hits via Statcounter in November and last weekend we reached 10,000 hits!
Now we know that hits are not the “real” count of people visiting a Web site, but it is still cool to have a 10,000 number on the site.
But a number that does carry some weight is unique visitors and we are closing in on 4,000 of them. Averaging 784 per month if you include November through March. Take out November and March, and we’ve averaged 1,163 unique visitors over the three months from December through February.

Wow, 10,000 hits in a single month! That’s definitely something I can aspire to as a newly minted SEO minded blogger. You should post about how you did it…

Thanks Joey. How did I do it?
Well a combination of writing for my audience and using some “SEO” ideas to get them to my site.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!
