Delaware Ohio Real Estate: Jan. 15-21

The first three weeks of 2007 continue to show promise for the Delaware real estate market.

Home sales continued to enjoy a moderate climb thanks to the — now gone — unseasonable weather patterns that got the blood moving.

  • Solds increased to 16 up from nine the previous week and more than the 13 that sold during the first week of the year.
  • The Active listings remained very steady, with 1,733 houses currently active on the market. There was 1,711 on the market during the first week of the year and 1,725 on the market last week. So less than 1 percent change. This includes Toby’s new listing at 299 North Sandusky (shown at right).
  • Withdrawns are pretty consistent with 30 of them this week and range of 20-34 so far this year.
  • Expireds were down 18 this week – which can be attributed to a lot of reasons, including more people re-upping and getting the houses off the expired list or just less contracts expiring.

Things are still looking good for the 2007 year, to start with in Delaware Ohio real estate market.
