Delaware Ohio’s Best: Spot for Breakfast

When it comes time for breakfast in Delaware, the locations can be numerous.

There are your regional choices with two Bob Evans, a First Watch just east of Polaris Fashion Place Mall, and a great selection of other locations throughout the county.

But when it comes to a “classic” breakfast at a local Delaware establishment, one place comes straight to mind. The Hamburger Inn.

The Winner

The Hamburger Inn is your traditional downtown restaurant that every town needs — and Delaware still has. The food tastes great — loaded with grease, but in a good way — and the bill is small. Just what makes for a great breakfast.

Honorable Mention

Jack’s Famous Diner has already won one category, but it is a great place for breakfast as well — and you can get it anytime they are open.

Special Mentions

Grill Works at Buehler’s Food Store has a nice selection of breakfast foods. Don’t go on a Sunday morning, unless you want to stand in line for a while. Very popular with the after-church crowd — and it should be. Breakfast is filling and the bill won’t send you running to the Bank next door.

These are the best of Delaware Ohio’s traditional breakfast houses.
