Sample Publicity Plan for Your Property
BEFORE WE LIST
- I’ll give you the opportunity to visit several other homes for sale in the area to get a feeling for the market
- Meet with you to explain the marketing direction we are taking with your home. Looking at the price as a function of marketing, etc.
JUST LISTED
- Just listed postcard sent to numerous contacts
- Sharing the property with my network of Realtors® from all over Central Ohio via e-mail, fax, calls, and visits
- Prepare flyers for different marketing initiatives (for example creating business card sized “promo pieces” that are easy to give away during contact with a potential buyer, and the full-page sheet that will be used at your home, in our office, and other locations)
- Distribute flyers throughout town on your property (for example, little business-card size flyers at Kroger and Buehlers for example)
DAILY- Contact with potential customers in my daily interactions. I’m a Realtor® 24-hours a day, 7-days a week
- A “call sign” on your property that will allow any person driving-by to listen to a personal story on your house – explaining why they need to see your beautiful home
- Listed on my personal Web site, Disbennett’s Web site, Trulia, and Realtor.com
- I live and work minutes from your home, so I can have an interested buyer inside within minutes!
- Full page listing sheet placed on the door of your home along with a comment feed-back envelope (if you permit it)
WEEKLY
- Will be included in all advertisements that Disbennett Real Estate Co. has in the area.
- “Reminders” to Realtor® contacts that we are still out there – with updates on the home. (For example, if we have a dozen showings – make a note that this house is popular, so you don’t want to wait.)
- Report on the showings at your home during the past week, complete with updates on the area market and how we are fairing compared to other properties in the development
MONTHLY
- Included in the freely distributed publications Real Estate Review and HOME Profile
- Open house to show off your home. We need to get people inside your home to show off its character, and hopefully the response from open houses would do just that!
