Announcement was made recently that the city has approved a bed and breakfast to go into the house located at left. The property is located at the corner of Elizabeth and Winter Streets across from the Delaware Arts Castle and Ohio Wesleyan’s Sanborn Hall.
It will be an interesting proposition, as a cottage house on the back of the lot could make for a very-neat room. Have not heard an anticipated opening date.
This will be downtown’s second bed-and-breakfast as The Italiante Circa 1890 is located on Central Avenue just down the from the courthouse.
The Italiante Circa 1890 offers two suites in a charming 115-year-old Victorian in Delaware’s Historic Northwest District.
The Sunflower Garden Suite is $85 per night, while the Apple Cottage Suite rents for $75 per night. Each of the suites has Cable TV, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron, window air conditioner, and a CD clock radio.
