I am not a Delaware native, nor am I a long-time resident.

I’ve lived here for only a year and this is my home. We live in a nice development on the City’s west side and I can totally see this as my hometown.

I was born in the small Amish community of Nunda, located in Knox County about 20 minutes from Mt. Vernon, and moved here at seven weeks old.

And Toby, is pretty similar to my story. He was born in Mansfield and spent his first couple of years in Butler before moving to Danville and spending the majority of his next 21 years there. After graduating from Mt. Union he moved to Tiffin to work at Heidelberg and eventually to Delaware. And in a similar way, this may not be his hometown, however it has become his home.

And he’s proud of it. He’s proud enough to work with several local groups and try to make this wonderful community and even better place to live.
